On the 14th October one half of Year 7 from Saint John Houghton stayed at the Briars until the 16th of October

We made boats in our small groups based on what God would look like if God were a boat. We then completed challenges in groups in order to sail our boats into the Sea, the final challenge was to test our boats on water and see how many stones they could hold before sinking.

Every morning we started our day with a morning prayer created by a small group and we also ended our day with a night prayer created by the team.

We expanded our skills in workshops where we played sports, explored the games room and created our own are.

We celebrated mass together as a community on our final day, after which we had our own disco before heading to bed.
