This year on September the 8th, something big is happening! The Eucharistic Congress or ‘Adoremus’ is a national event that hasn’t been held in the country for decades. It’s an opportunity to focus on the Eucharist and what it can bring to our lives and our Church.
We are giving young people from across the diocese a chance to get involved in a really special way. Not only to be at the special youth event with a thousand other young people, but also to train on a residential weekend at The Briars to become a Eucharistic Minister for your Parish or school. This is an incredible way to live your faith and to be an example to other young people.
You’ll come and stay with us on the 7th of September for the weekend, during which on the Saturday well take you up to Liverpool to be part of this amazing event! You’ll need to be sponsored/recommended by your school or parish and places are strictly first come, first served. The weekend will finish on Sunday at 1:00pm and then you’ll be commissioned a few weeks later at The Cathedral! The cost for everything is only £65.
Speak to your Parish Preist / school staff before filling in the form below and we look forward to seeing you soon.
Please be aware the submission of this form does not guarantee you a place.
